What does a Tixel treatment feel like?

Tixel is a quick and well-tolerated treatment. Depending on the treatment area, we may apply a topical numbing cream to maintain your comfort. During the procedure, you will feel a heated sensation as the Tixel handpiece is passed over the skin. Sometimes, multiple passes are required to achieve your desired results.

What is Tixel recovery like?

With its less invasive approach, our busy patients have less downtime with Tixel. The outermost layer of skin remains intact, so you won’t have to worry about post-treatment bleeding or oozing. While you may experience mild redness and swelling, you can return to most daily activities within hours after treatment and wear makeup 24 hours later. We recommend avoiding sun exposure, staying away from the sauna or hot tub, and refraining from harsh skincare products for up to a week post-treatment.

What results can I expect from Tixel?

Results appear gradually as collagen builds. Most patients see optimal results 4 to 6 weeks after treatment, including smoothing, evening out, and tightening of skin.
